Write to aleks.vasiliev@gmail.com. The mail goes to the person who wrote the app, and answers usually come within two working days. If a file did not come out right, attach it or describe what was in the contact that broke, since the vCard format has more dialects than it should.
What the free version does
The free version exports any 25 contacts you choose, with every field and every format. The limit is on how many contacts go into one file, never on which fields or which format you can use.
One payment of $6.99 removes the limit forever on that Apple Account. There is no subscription and no second purchase.
Restoring a purchase
New phone, or the app reinstalled: open the app, go to the export screen and tap Restore purchase. Use the same Apple Account that paid. If it does not come back, send the receipt Apple emailed you and it will be sorted out.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Permissions
The app asks for access to your contacts because exporting an address book means reading it. Nothing is sent anywhere. There is no networking code in the app, which you can check by turning on airplane mode and exporting anyway.
If you picked Limited Access on iOS 18, the app can only see the people you selected, so a count that looks too low means the rest were never handed over. The app shows how many it can reach and gives you a search field to add more people. To hand over everything, open Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Contacts, then Contacts to Excel, and choose Full Access.
The file
The export writes a real .xlsx workbook, a .csv, or a
.vcf. Every cell is written as text on purpose, so a phone number starting with
a plus and a ZIP code starting with a zero survive as typed instead of being read as
arithmetic by the spreadsheet.
Where the file goes is up to you: the system share sheet offers Files, Mail, AirDrop and anything else installed. It is not uploaded on the way.
Importing into Google Contacts or Outlook
Choose the matching column layout before exporting. Google Contacts and Outlook each expect their own header names, and the app writes them exactly as the vendor documents them, so the file imports without renaming anything. Google also limits an import to 3,000 contacts per file, and the app says so on the export screen before you cross it.
The third layout, Spreadsheet, is the one to pick when a person is going to read the sheet rather than a service import it. It is also the only layout the field picker applies to, since the two import formats have fixed columns.
